With the semester in full swing, HUA hosted several fun events!

• Film and History Discussion with Dr. Keane

  • At the beginning of the month, HUA partnered with Dr. Keane for a discussion of the new film The Trial of the Chicago Seven​. During the discussion, students got to examine how the retelling of historical events can be used to portray modern cultural ideas.

• Kahoot Trivia Night

  • Later in the month, HUA held a trivia night on Kahoot. The questions pushed the knowledge of the participants and the nerve-racking Kahoot music set the tone for a night of competition!

• Historians at the Movies

  • At the end of the month, HUA partnered with Dr. Chiles and the New York History Journal for a viewing of the film Hello, Dolly. The student-led discussion allowed for fun conversations about 19th-century historical events and trends.
