October was an exciting month for HUA!

  • A great way to relax with fellow majors, minors, and even a few professors!

• Dinner and Discussion with Dr. Giovacchini

  • Dr. Giovacchini. Dr. Giovacchini led a discussion of the film Residue's portrayal of the gentrification of Washington DC!

• Alumni Networking Event

  • The department and career center hosted a networking event with history alumni in diverse and unique fields. It was a great opportunity for our undergraduates to build connections with alumni and learn about different fields they can enter post-graduation.

• Fall 2020 Mentorship Program

  • Finally, HUA opened our 2020 mentorship program to help connect underclassmen to successful upperclassmen history majors and minors who can help serve as mentors and advisors to their mentees!
