ABOUT US
The History Undergraduate Association (HUA) is a social and professional organization for students interested in any and all types of history. HUA is open to all students - you do not have to be a history major/minor to join!
We hold a variety of professional and social events throughout the semester to support all student interests. Professional events such as "Success in the Major and Minor" and "Graduate School: To Go or Not To Go?" aim to help students excel in their history courses and demystify graduate school, respectively. HUA also holds a series of social events that provide students interested in history with the opportunity to socialize with their peers and network with history faculty. Social events include movie nights, field trips, and ice cream socials, just to name a few!
OUR COMMUNITY
HUA is a community composed of undergraduate students from colleges and schools across the University of Maryland's campus. Our mission is to connect like-minded individuals through their shared love of history. Whether you are a history major, a history minor or just a history lover, HUA welcomes you to be part of our community!
