Halfway through the semester HUA is active with two events! 

• Women in and throughout history event

  • In celebration of Women's History Month, HUA hosted a panel discussion focused on women in history and women studying history. 

• LGBTQ+ Film Event

  • As HUA continues to focus on the histories of diverse communities, our film event marks our first event focused on LGBTQ+ history. During the event, lead by Professor Rosunburg of the English Department, attendees discussed the film 'The Boys in the Band' which is based on the first broadway play with a cast of openly gay characters, and how that representation impacted the community.
